Greendale Hall has excellent catering facilities with two kitchens and sits in a beautiful sheltered domain for outside games, with tennis courts and a children's playground. Greendale Hall provides an ideal space for performances, club meetings, community classes and more.
Venue hire is charged per hour at the following rates:
Community Rate: Applies to non-profit groups whose activities are open to the public and directly benefit the local community. This includes local schools, faith groups, and community-focused events. The rate is not available for bookings involving commercial activities, private gain, or events connected to political parties, candidates, or campaigns, where the activity is associated with an individual or group seeking elected office or advancing a political position.
Please note, eligibility for the Community Rate is determined at the discretion of Selwyn District Council. Proof of non-profit status or community benefit may be required.
Standard Rate: Applies to all other bookings that do not qualify for the Community Rate, including private or commercial events.
Pricing takes effect 1 July 2026 and is reviewed 1 July each year. Any quotations given during this timeframe may increase in line with this.

The Supper Room (also known as the Pavilion) supports regular cricket games at the Greendale Reserve during the spring and summer months. As a result, it is unavailable for bookings on Saturdays throughout this period.
