Te Ara Ātea
Description
Te Ara Ātea is located in the heart of Rolleston, close to eateries and retail stores. Te Whare Tapere and Toi Huarewa rooms can be booked for meetings, presentations and performances, and are fully equipped with Wi-Fi, screens, sound and data projectors. Please note, there is no commercial kitchen on-site, only a kitchenette.

Venue hire is charged per hour at the following rates:
1. Community Rate: Applies to non-profit groups that directly benefits the local community. This includes local schools, faith groups, and community-focused events. The rate is not available for bookings involving commercial activities or for private gain.
Please note: Eligibility for the Community Rate is determined at the discretion of the Selwyn District Council. Proof of non-profit status or community benefit may be required.
2. Standard Rate: Applies to all other bookings that do not qualify for the Community Rate, including private or commercial events.
There may be additional charges or requirements depending on your booking.
Pricing takes effect 1 July 2024 and is reviewed 1 July each year. Any quotations given during this timeframe may increase in line with this.

Te Whare Tapere
Te Whare Tapere features large glass windows overlooking the town centre on two sides and comes equipped with built-in audiovisual equipment including data projectors, screens and sound system, along with free Wi-Fi. It’s an ideal space for meetings, product launches, exhibitions and more. Please note, there is no commercial kitchen on-site, only a kitchenette.
